I woke up earlier than necessary, and hoped that a certain song would wake me on my radio alarm in an hour. Sure enough, when my alarm went off, Jonny Diaz was singing, “It’s ready, set, go, it’s another wild day; When the stress is on the rise, in my heart, I feel you say, just breathe, just breathe…” What a fun surprise, Lord! Times like that prove just how very close our Lord is to us. How very intimate and observant He is, listening to our inner thoughts so He can delight us, or comfort us, or pour peace into us. Nahum 1:7 says, “The Lord is good, a strong refuge when trouble comes. He is close to those who trust in him.” He is good and close indeed, friends. Oh Jesus, Your love is extravagant and surprising and the most beautiful thing to wake up to. Thank You! ~Tracy
