“He will sit like a refiner of silver, burning away the dross. He will purify the Levites, refining them like gold and silver, so that they may once again offer acceptable sacrifices to the Lord.” (Malachi 3:3) It is hard for us to admit, but we often cause our own drama. When we are smart, we ask God for help, to transform us into His image, and we accept His tough refining process. Sometimes, God just needs to grab us and drop us into the cauldron, where instead of being burned up, we are refined. We come out better after His process. With love, the Almighty works on us and with us for transformation. So heat us up, Lord. We want to offer acceptable sacrifices to You, and pure hearts. Thank You, Faithful Refiner, for purifying us and making us shine in the image of Your Son, Jesus.
