In the Mix

Did you feel more alive in 2025? You know how I like to rhyme for the new year…so what’s in the mix for 2026? Some of us are starting a new chapter in life, others are hoping things stay the same. May the Lord guide your steps through whatever is in the mix of experiences and adventures for your new year. I heard the song "Winter Wonderland" and part of the chorus struck me as unusually appropriate: “To face unafraid, the plans that we've made, walking in a winter wonderland.” Maybe, like me, you are making new plans even though you are more than a little reluctant to change. I want to face unafraid the plans that I’ve made. I know the Lord will lead me as I seek His perfect will. He will do the same for you. Remember Lamentations 3:22-23, “The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.” Never-ending love and new mercies every morning...that’s God’s beautiful plan and promise for our new year.
