Middle School Youth
The goal of our Shepherd Middle School ministry is to establish meaningful relationships with students for the purpose of helping them grow in their relationship with Christ. We want students to know they are loved and that God has a purpose for their life.
Shepherd Youth Sunday Nights
All 6-8th grade youth are invited to Shepherd Youth Nights which are on the first and third Sundays of every month from 5:oo – 6:30pm on the Shea campus in the Youth Room (Bldg A). We share a meal, play games and do a Bible-based activity together.
Confirmation
Confirmation is a special ceremony our congregation holds where a youth publicly “confirms” the faith of their baptism – that they believe in Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior. All 6th – 8th grade youth are invited to be a part of confirmation. We meet monthly (September through May) on the second Sunday from 11:00am to 12:15pm on the Shea campus. We provide lunch. Our 9th graders are confirmed in October.
Sunday Morning Shepherd Kids
Middle School youth are invited to meet on the fourth Sunday of every month during the 9:30am worship service at our Mountain View campus. They are also welcome to volunteer in our Shepherd Kids classrooms the rest of the month to help build relationships with the younger Shepherd kids.
High School Youth
The goal of our Shepherd High School ministry (9th-12th grade) is to prepare students for any issues they may face as Christians, and to equip them to do the work of ministry. We want students to experience a safe, loving and exciting environment to ask questions, grow in the faith, and be inspired to be who God created them to be.

National Youth Gathering
All high schoolers are invited to attend the LCMS Youth Gathering that takes place every 3 years. The next gathering will be in San Antonio, Texas from July 3-7, 2028. Visit www.lcmsgathering.com for more information.
