My mom likes to tell the story of a little girl who spent the night with snoring grandparents. How did she handle that? She replied, “I just closed my ears and went to sleep.” Wish I could still do that! In Isaiah 55:3, the Lord says through the prophet, “Come to me with your ears wide open.” First, God invites us to come near. Find your quiet space and close your ears to the noise of the world. Seek and approach the Lord. Search His Word and listen. Let’s sit with our Father God, ears wide open, hearts hopeful. He promises, “Listen, and you will find life.” Amen!
