Five Years of Christian Growth, Unity, and Purpose As Shepherd launches its 2031-2032 program year, the congregation stands as a vibrant testimony to faith and commitment. Over 800 worshipers gather weekly across two campuses, united with joy driven by musically rich worship, deep biblical teaching, and a commitment to making God’s Word accessible and practical for every member. The children’s ministry shines with life, welcoming Pre-K through Middle School students at Mountain View and Pre-K through 5th Grade at Shea. Mountain View’s growth has been so dynamic that, by Fall 2028, the campus expanded to two weekly worship services, making room for the 100 energetic children who attend children’s church each week.
By Fall 2026, an intergenerational ministry action team is bridging the campuses and uniting the entire body of Christ through shared programming and purposeful connection. Shepherd’s ministry leaders spend 2,000 hours annually on personal spiritual coaching conversations over breakfast, lunch, or coffee, involving 80% of the worshiping congregation. The spirit of close-knit fellowship finds further expression in the 55% of worshipers involved in ongoing small groups. As a beacon for service and leadership, Shepherd will raise up 15 new church workers by 2031, equipping them through college, seminary, or local lay minister training. The culture of volunteering has blossomed—by 2030, 50% of the worshiping congregation actively serves in campus programs and worship facilitation.
Shepherd’s core value—that friends and neighbors become your family of faith—finds living proof in the stories of new members, 50% of whom cite a fellow worshiper as the reason they joined Shepherd. The heart for mission radiates outward, with increasing annual financial support for causes across the Valley. The physical transformation of the Shea and Mountain View campuses was realized in time for the 2027-2028 program year, turning these sites into vibrant resources for church and community alike. With an impressive 85% weekly usage from 8am to 9pm, these spaces hum with activity, ministry, and fellowship.
