Why?

Why can’t I eat more strawberries? Why can’t we go to the park now? Why do dogs bark? Why aren’t dinosaurs alive? For me, patiently answering a three-year-old is unrelenting fun. A child asking “why” twenty times in one hour signifies a growing brain seeking knowledge and understanding. I hope it signifies growth in me when I seek the Lord if I don’t understand things. I’m a child of God, trying to understand life, gather wisdom and knowledge of His will. I hope my unrelenting questions will be answered with God’s patient love. God’s Word shows His love since the beginning of time: through doubts, challenges, questions, storms, silence, joy and peace. Jeremiah 31:3 asserts, “Long ago the Lord said to Israel: “I have loved you, my people, with an everlasting love. With unfailing love I have drawn you to myself.” Everlasting love is the final answer!
