Held Together
Oh boy! Colossians 1:17! Fascinating! Let’s read Colossians 1:15-17: The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. Remember, in Jesus, all things were created and all things hold together. I learned of laminin years ago, a beautiful connection to Christ and Colossians 1:17. So, laminin is a protein and the “basement membrane” that holds cells and tissues together. It is a vital building block of life. Without it, a body (human or animal) would physically fall apart. This I love…laminin protein is the shape of the cross. The invisible thing that holds us together is a cross. In Jesus, all things are created and hold together! Oh, God is so amazing! Laminin was discovered in 1979, but God formed it and named it at creation for His Son. John 17:21 collaborates as Jesus prays for us: that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. We believe, Lord! ~Tracy
