Creation

We looked at the trail map, and wisely picked the shorter hike. The same day we were proud of ourselves for hiking a steep two-mile waterfall trail, my brother and sister-in-law hiked eight miles down a mountain in Switzerland. They are daily runners and in great shape. I’m a daily chocolate eater and won’t comment on my shape. Point is, we were all four awed by the magnificence of God’s creation. Our Sunday readings include Job 38, “The morning stars sang together and all the angels shouted for joy” as God laid the cornerstone of the earth. How awesome! Wherever you are today, hiking in the mountains, walking in the grocery store, or going to the kitchen for more chocolate, think of the One who made “daylight spread to the ends of the earth.” Every day, let yourself be awe-struck and praise your Creator!
