Faithful Men

A newly dating couple were talking about their future and one said, “What if the grass looks greener on the other side of the fence?” His date said, “The grass is greener where you water it.” That was a strong comment on relationships in general. We have to intentionally care for each other in order for our relationships to flourish. With Father’s Day coming up, I’m so thankful for the good men we know who have faithfully “watered” and cared for their families. We are also blessed by fathers in faith who use the power of the Spirit to teach and encourage us. They’ve all made a wonderful individual and generational impact, nurturing a legacy of love. The godly walk with integrity; blessed are their children who follow them. Proverbs 20:7
For faithful, fatherly men, we give God thanks and glory: Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen. Ephesians 3:20-21
